What you get

Rapidfile Media is made for quick clip sharing: gaming highlights, screen recordings, product demos, bug reproductions, short social videos. Every upload gets a share page with the Rapidfile player, a direct CDN link to the original file and an iframe embed code. We don't describe or compare other services' limits — they change — so here are Rapidfile's own facts:

No re-encoding: what that means for you

Rapidfile does not transcode. The upside: your clip is ready the moment the upload finishes, at exactly the quality you exported. The trade-off: you choose the format. Export MP4 (H.264 + AAC) for clips that play everywhere, keep the bitrate sensible (8–12 Mbps is plenty for 1080p60 gameplay), and enable "fast start" so playback begins instantly.

Sharing a clip in three steps

  1. Upload

Drop the clip on the upload box. The poster frame is made in your browser.

  2. Copy the link

Copy the page link for chats and social posts — previews show the title and poster.

  3. Embed if you like

Use the iframe code on your blog, wiki or site.

Good to know

  • An account is required to upload, so every clip has an owner who can delete it.
  • There's no public discovery feed — clips are unlisted.
  • Copyright owners can file a notice under our DMCA policy.

Does the share link preview in Discord or other chats?

Share pages include the title, poster and video tags that chat apps use for previews; how the preview looks depends on the app.
